How do I place an order? You can place an order on-line with our SSL secure shopping cart. There you can upload two personal photographs and see ROUGHLY how they would look in your personalized collage. Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. Please double check all information for accuracy and keep it for your records.

What is the cost of the personalized, professionally framed collage? Your personalized professionally framed collage is $175.00 each plus shipping and handling. There is sales tax for North Carolina orders.

To match the quality of your memories, we only use the best practices and materials to produce the collages: High quality graphics techniques, personal attention to the quality and positioning of your personal photos, high grade paper and matting, and completed with professional framing in a solid wood frame and Conservation Clear Glass with 99% UV Protection for years of enjoyment. Your collage is then lovingly packaged and drop shipped directly to you.

What size is the framed collage? Your professionally framed and matted collage is 17”x17”. This is the perfect size for display in a dorm, apartment or home.

What makes your collages so special? We take great pride in producing a high quality keepsake for you and yours. This personalized collage of your school will hang in a place of honor for years to come. What if I don’t see my school’s collage listed? Please contact us by email or at 1-800-355-6911 if you don’t see your school and would like for us to contact the school. We would need a person within the school to contact preferably in the Alumni or Development Office or the Bookstore. It is much simpler if you have contacted them personally so they are expecting our call. Over the last 20 years, we have worked with over 300 schools and colleges and are always working with schools to create their collage.

The collages are created in collaboration with each school with minimal effort and NO COST to the schools. Throughout the partnership there is never any cost to the school, and 10% of each sale is remitted to the school. There is no inventory. All ordering is done through this web site. All delivering, accounting and problem resolution are done by us.

The professionally framed personalized collage sells for $175.00 plus shipping and handling. The shipping and handling is the actual cost of that function. The 10% remittance is based on the $175—returning $17.50 of each sale to the school.

Can I ship my order to another address? Yes! We can send orders to any address you wish. To designate an address other than your own, simply make your choices in Check Out where you'll enter the recipient's address. Please keep in mind that the collages cannot be shipped to a Post Office Box, so the shipping address MUST be a street address.

Can I check the status of my order? We begin each order as soon as it is placed, and you will receive a confirming email.  We quote a 4 week production time but hope to have the orders completed and shipped prior to that in "off" times.  Our busiest times are graduation and holidays, so please plan ahead and place your orders as early as possible.

I made a mistake on the collage I ordered. Can I change or cancel the order? Your order is customized with your personal photos and begins processing automatically as soon as it is submitted. If possible, we will accommodate your request to change or cancel your custom order. If your order has already been printed, changes or cancellations cannot be made, and you will be charged for the original order.

What is your turnaround time once I place the order? Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of your personalized collage. Allow extra time for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii.
Why does it take so long? Your personalized collage is created just for you and we want to make sure that this cherished keepsake is produced carefully for years of enjoyment. We take the time to make sure that your photos are crisp and clear and positioned best for you.

Generally, we hope to have your custom piece to you in less than 4 weeks, but we have very busy times of the year— especially graduations and Christmas time. In our busy times, 4 weeks is more likely. If you order during less busy times of the year, we expect delivery time to be less than 4 weeks. In any case, we want to keep our promise of delivery times and don’t want to disappoint you. We much prefer to under promise and over deliver. Please let us know if you have special needs and we will try to accommodate you. You can also accelerate the shipping for an additional charge. How do you handle Shipping-Domestic and International? We ship your order via reputable carriers only including UPS and FedEx. Standard delivery can require up to 5 business days for your order to reach its destination and shipping time is not guaranteed. Express delivery is available for an additional fee.
UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to Post Office boxes. Please provide us with a physical street address for shipping.

Shipping and Handling (S&H) will be added to the total of your order. S&H is calculated based upon the size and weight of the package. What you pay for S&H is very close to our actual cost. Unlike many companies, we do not design our shipping tables to be profit centers.

Special rates apply to shipments outside the continental U.S. and for an order of multiple collages.

For safety and security, we highly recommend that a signature be required for the delivery of your collage to a residence or you could ship your order to a commercial address. Carriers sometimes leave packages unattended, or with a neighbor, if no one is home when delivery is attempted. These packages can be lost, forgotten or even stolen. You may opt out of having a signature required for delivery, but we are not responsible for the loss of your order by failed delivery, and in no case shall we issue a refund or free replacement for an order where the carrier can provide delivery confirmation. Our shipments can be tracked from our shipping point to the delivery address. For your security, we suggest you require a signature for a residential delivery or specify a commercial address, if possible, for delivery during normal working hours.

International Shipping
Collages can be shipped internationally. Please contact Customer Service for rates. All charges are in U.S. dollars. The recipient of the package is responsible for credit card exchange rates, delivery fees and custom charges.

Do you offer Gift Certificates? Yes! For the perfect last minute gift or to allow the graduate or alum to choose their own photos to be included in their collage, consider one of our gift certificates. Gift certificates are delivered in attractive packaging ready to be presented or can be sent via email within 2 business days of purchase. Is online ordering safe? We have taken extra measures to ensure your personal information is kept confidential and safe. We use Secure Socket Layer software (SSL) that protects your information whenever you place an order or access your account. The SSL encrypts all data you provide before it is sent to us. We also provide a variety of safeguards to ensure that no unauthorized person is allowed access to your data once you have provided it to us.

Can you ship overseas? Yes! Collages can be shipped internationally. Please contact Customer Service for rates. All charges are in U.S. dollars. The recipient of the package is responsible for credit card exchange rates, delivery fees and custom charges.

What is your return policy? We proudly stand behind all our products and make every effort to produce a keepsake of the highest quality. If we make an error in manufacturing your personalized collage, we will happily replace it, or issue a full refund for that item. Errors in personalized items must be reported to our Customer Service Department within seven (7) days of receiving your order. We're sorry, personalized items where we have made no error cannot be returned. We are not responsible for errors regarding your uploaded photos or choice of schools. Please review the order carefully and double check to make sure that you have the correct school and have uploaded the photos you prefer. ALL ITEMS BEING RETURNED MUST BE IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND CARTON. PLEASE keep the original carton and packaging until you are sure that the collage is produced to your satisfaction.

What happens if my collage arrives damaged or defective? If, upon receipt, you find that your order is not as it should be, please contact our customer service department immediately, using the contact information provided on this web site. Any damage must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery. No allowances or credits will be given after this period. ALL ITEMS BEING RETURNED MUST BE IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND CARTON. PLEASE keep the original carton and packaging until you are sure that the collage is produced to your satisfaction.

Who pays for return shipping costs? Shipping charges are refundable only if we made an error in the original order. No allowances, refunds, credits, exchanges or order adjustments may be made for the order where we have not been notified of a defect within seven (7) days of receipt of your order. ALL ITEMS BEING RETURNED MUST BE IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND CARTON. PLEASE keep the original carton and packaging until you are sure that the collage is produced to your satisfaction.

Which credit cards are accepted? We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards as well as PayPal.

Can I order multiple collages with the same photos? Yes, you can order more than one collage with the same personal photos. When you are in the shopping cart, just edit the order to increase the number of collages from 1 to the number you wish to order. The change should be reflected in the order total.

Photos to Be Uploaded


Can I upload any photos to be included in the collage? No, not all photos are acceptable. [1]You can upload any .jpg photos that you have the rights to use and that are appropriate or suitable to the image of the school. You must own the rights to the photos that you upload. By utilizing this site, you agree not to upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any photos that infringe upon patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or other proprietary rights. If you are using a professional school photo, you must have purchased the rights to use the photo and are attesting to the fact that you have done so if you upload such a photo.
[2] By utilizing this site, you agree not to upload, post, order for print, email or otherwise transmit or communicate any material that is obscene, offensive, blasphemous, pornographic, unlawful, threatening, menacing, abusive, harmful, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, illegal or otherwise objectionable. Presidential Promotions and MySchoolCollage.com reserve the right to refuse to include any photos that they feel may not appropriately represent the school in whose collage you are inserting photos.
[3] Only .jpg photos can be uploaded into the "Create a Collage" function. The resolution of a photograph is critical to its clarity when printed. The best photos are those taken with a digital camera at a high resolution—at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) at 4”x6”. Please check your camera to make sure that the settings are at the highest resolution. Some people set their cameras at the lowest resolution to save space on the memory card, but these photos will not print clearly. Use the highest resolution settings for your collage photos.

Can I upload photos taken with my digital camera or from my computer? Yes, the best photos are those taken with a digital camera at a high resolution—at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) at 4”x6”. Please check your camera to make sure that the settings are at the highest resolution. Some people set their cameras at the lowest resolution to save space on the memory card, but these photos will not print clearly. Use the highest resolution settings for your collage photos. Only .jpg photos can be accepted in the "Create a Collage" function. 

Can I use school photos in the collage? If you are using a professional school photo, you must have purchased the rights to use the photo and are attesting to the fact that you have done so if you upload such a photo. You cannot just scan a professional photo; you must have paid for the right to reproduce that photo.

Can I add more than 2 personal photos? At this time, you cannot include more than 2 personal photos in your collage. We have tested using 3 photos, and we were surprised to discover that it is not as attractive.

Are there any guidelines for the photos? Upload two personal .jpg photos—one vertical and one horizontal. Please do not crop or enlarge these photos. We need high resolution, digital .jpg photos—at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) at 4”x6”.
The two personal photos will be cropped slightly in printing. On the vertical photo, 1/4” will be cropped from the left and top of the photo to allow for a bleed. On the horizontal photo, 1/4” will be cropped from the right and bottom of the photo to allow for a bleed. MySchoolCollage.com reserves the right to crop or make adjustments to a photo to make it more suitable for the collage.

The "Create a Collage" function will give you a ROUGH idea of how your photos will look in the collage.  Once you load your personal photos and purchse the collage, our professional graphics, printing and framing team will lovingly size and place your photos in the collage for their best look.

The final framed collage will be printed from an extremely high resolution file and will be crisp and clear--a cherished keepsake for years to come.  Because of size limitations, the collage shown on the computer screen is a lower resolution file and may appear a little fuzzy in spots, but this is not reflective of the actual framed collage. 

If you have any problems or concerns with uploading the personal photos--sometimes the collage creator does not know exactly how to place or size them, please let us know.  We are here to help.  Our goal is to have your personal photos be the same high quality and resolution as the rest of the collage.

Will the photos appear exactly as I see them on the screen? The Collage Creator will only give you a ROUGH idea of how your photos will look in the final framed collage. The Collage Creator is only an approximation of how the photos will look and may at times show the personal photos off center or going the wrong direction. If you are concerned about the photos, please contact us for further assistance. After you place your order, your personal photos will be lovingly edited and sized by our team of graphics, printing, and framing professionals for the best look.

The two personal .jpg photos will be cropped slightly in printing. On the vertical photo, 1/4” will be cropped from the left and top of the photo to allow for a bleed. Because of resolution restrictions on-line, the collage may appear a little fuzzy in spots. Your finished framed collage will be crisp and clear, printed from a very high resolution file.

Can I have old photos scanned and send the files to be included in the collage? Yes! Printed personal photos shot with film may be used if you have them scanned at a high resolution. (and own the rights to use them). There are many print shops that can do this. Kinko’s, for instance, can scan a photo at 400 to 600 dpi (dots per inch) for just a couple of dollars. Bring your own disk or thumb drive to avoid any additional charges. As a guideline, please be sure to specify that a photo 4”x6” or larger be scanned at 400 dpi and 2”x3” at 600 dpi. The scanned file can then be uploaded at MySchoolCollage.com for your collage. Keep in mind that scanning a photo may end up a little less clear than the original, and a grainy, fuzzy photo will still be fuzzy. The quality will not improve with scanning! Please try to use crisp, sharp photos to match the quality of the other photos in the collage.

Are cell phone photos acceptable? Cell phone photos are generally not suitable because they are a low resolution and will look grainy and fuzzy in your collage.  Keep in mind also that we can only accept .jpg photos.

What does the school need to do to participate? Is it much work?
The process is simple:

A school can have their collage created by:
1. selecting a specific entity within the school that will promote the sale of the collage and receive the remitted funds. (You can change this entity at any time but can have only one entity set up as the recipient, at a time.) We have partnered with, for example, the book store, parent associations, alumni associations and the development office.
2. providing photographs and a lead person or persons to work with Harriet in the design of the “base collage.”

MySchoolCollage.com does the rest:
Takes orders, collects money from the sales, and shows how the 2 personal photos would look in the collage. We print and matte the personalized collage, have it professionally framed with Conservation Clear Glass with 99% UV Protection and within 4 weeks drop ship the framed collage to the purchaser.

Does the collage change each year? No, the collage is a collection of iconic photos of your school and does not change annually. As buildings are built or things change, we may need to change a photo or two in the collage, but once the collage is set, you do not have to work with it again.

Do I have to take orders? No, all orders are taken through the web site. After the collage is created, the school only needs to promote the collage.

How do I promote the collage? Most schools promote the collage to the senior class parents or to alumni. This can be done through mailings or a posting on the web site. One group, such as the Parents or Alumni Association or Bookstore, generally will take charge of promoting the collages and in turn, receive the 10% from each sale to further their projects.  We have marketing material to help. Additionally, we will create a sample collage using personal photos of a student or alumnus/a who is willing to have it used as a display sample and receive a collage free of charge. The school will also receive a collage at no charge for display. There is a sample collage on display at most schools.  Please contact us to find out where to see your school's display collage.

We are happy to entertain and help with your ideas for promotion. For example, we can provide a free collage for an auction or other event.

1. 10% or $17.50 of each collage of your school sold is sent back to the school each quarter.

2. This high quality framed collage acts as a perpetual ambassador for your school. Your school is presented and displayed beautifully in dorms, apartments, and homes far and wide. And it acts as a fond and continual reminder of your school to the alum.

3. It is a classic gift for graduates and alumni but can also be given as a cherished gift to a retiring teacher, board member, or parent association head as well as major donors. The possible recipients are numerous .

Do I have to handle any customer service issues? No, everything from ordering, payment, production, shipping and any customer issues will be handles by MySchoolCollage.com.

Do the collages come to the school or are they sent directly the purchaser? The collages are drop shipped directly to the purchaser or to the address specified by the purchaser. The school does not have to deliver or inventory the collages in any way.
